Rachel and Nick Cope are co-founders of New York studio Calico Wallpaper (founded 2013) and sister company Cope (founded 2017). Rachel received her BFA in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master's degree in art therapy from the School of Visual Arts. Nick graduated from the Gallatin School at New York University, specializing in photography and digital imaging. Interested in incorporating art into everyday interior spaces, their studio experiments with handmade designs that are used to create unique wallpapers and objects. Their designs have been exhibited internationally at the London Design Festival, Salone del Mobile in Milan, and are included in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York.
