A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jacob Hashimoto (b. 1973, United States) is a multimedia artist who lives and works in New York. At the intersection of painting and sculpture, abstraction and landscape, his three-dimensional installations are built from hundreds of handmade rice paper and bamboo kites.
