Irma Boom (b. 1960, the Netherlands) is a graphic designer who specializes in books. The youngest-ever laureate to receive the prestigious Gutenberg prize for her complete body of work, she has designed over 300 books, fifty of which are included in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art. Her experimental approach to books reimagines traditional ideas around the medium. Her clients include the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Ferrari, Vitra, The United Nations, OMA/Rem Koolhaas, and Chanel.
