Marian Bantjes (b. 1963, Canada) is a designer, illustrator, typographer, and writer working from a small island off the west coast of Canada near Vancouver. In 1984, she began work as a typesetter and opened her own design firm ten years later. In 2003, she started producing highly personalized graphic artwork for clients worldwide. Bantjes is known for precise, detailed, and obsessive handwork along with innovative patterning and ornamentation.
