Hiroshige Fukuhara is a Tokyo-based artist who is known for his intricate drawings and hand-carved figures of the natural world. With hidden imagery, Binary subtly plays on the tension between what is seen and what is perceived. Fukuhara creates the endless flora and fauna line work of Binary by etching into a dark surface freehand.
