Rhapsody in Blue

300047

Beginning as a series of cityscapes painted on unprimed linen, Rhapsody in Blue offers a panorama of New York City after dark. Using the circumscribed view from his East Village apartment as a point of entry, Tabboo! layers washes of vibrant blue to build an expansive urban theater, evoking artificial light with luminous touches of yellow and electric red.
