Cupid's Arrow

399960

Cupid's Arrow is based on an original ink-and-watercolor composition depicting female and male archetypes alongside the Native American figure of coyote as trickster. A dense choreography of aiming archeresses surrounds implied targets perched atop ladders. The pattern's vintage, illustrative style is disrupted by a weightless, disorienting arrangement.
